High-tech products have strategic importance for any country to become innovation-driven society and technological power. Although there are many foreign researches on this aspect, foreign theories maybe not suitable for China’s national conditions, since different countries may have a difference due to different national conditions. However Chinese scholars analyze the new high-tech product export competitiveness mostly based on the foreign theory, so there is no originality and pertinence in these analyses. In order to promote China’s high-tech product export competitiveness, the author thinks that the researches about new high-tech product export competitiveness have strong theoretical significance and practical significance.This paper refers to the reference literature at home and abroad and based on them to first of all analyze the structure of export commodities, trade mode, enterprise structure, export market structure through relevant data of China’s high-tech products exports, then to analyze comprehensively the development of China’s high-tech industry and put forward to the problems in recent years by analyzing the index of the total exports and export growth, the revealed comparative advantage, international market share, trade competitiveness, R&D strength and other indicators according to the related data in recent years. Next, through the establishment of binary regression model we analyze empirically the relationship between China’s high-tech product export competitiveness and R&D, the actual usage of foreign investment (FDI), exchange rate (E) by using a large amount of data. And we use trade competitiveness index (TCI) to represent China’s high-tech product export competitiveness level.We find that our high-tech products in the international market are at a disadvantage through empirical analysis and our high-tech products exports are out of balance, R&D investment in less, innovation in less ability, and the export market is too focused and so on. Finally this paper puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
