Study On Competitiveness And Influencing Factors Of High-tech Products Trade In Guangdong Province

In recent years,with the advancement of the reform and opening up process and China's“threat theory”,China has frequently suffered from trade frictions,and trade disputes between China and the United States have become more serious.The "trade war" and the "ZTE event" deserve our more reflection.Based on this background,this paper aims to study the export competitiveness of high-tech products in Guangdong Province and its influencing factors,and make suggestions for improving the export competitiveness of high-tech products in Guangdong Province.First of all,this paper sorts out theories related to export competitiveness research at home and abroad.On this basis,four important export competitiveness evaluation indicators were calculated.The analysis of the changes in these indicators in recent years has the following findings.According to the analysis of export competitiveness indicators,the share of Guangdong's high-tech products exports in the country has remained at 35%-50% for nearly 15 years;Except 2000 and 2002,Guangdong Province's high-tech product trade competitiveness index is positive,achieving trade surplus;The regional display comparative advantage index shows that the trade of high-tech products in Guangdong Province is basically stable at a relatively high level,but there is obvious room for improvement;Cluster analysis show that the export of high-tech products in Guangdong Province and Jiangsu Province is significantly better than other provinces.In addition,drawing on the scientific and technological evaluation indicators in the evaluation system of the World Competitiveness Yearbook,this paper analyzes the main factors affecting the export competition of high-tech products in Guangdong Province from three aspects: technological innovation environment,government influence and internationalization.We select R&D intensity,R&D personnel weight etc.as an independent variable,select the high-tech product trade competitiveness index of Guangdong Province as the dependent variable and established the ridge regression model.It was found that when the parameter of the ridge was 0.4,the coefficient of each variable tends to be stable.
