Drawing on existing research results at home and abroad, combining the actual binding region of Fuzhou City, We had visited 19 villages of 11 counties, through over 2,000 copies of investigation sample number and investigation objects of this research which covers different occupations and groups. We have mastered the specific circumstances of the rural economy in Fuzhou. By taking the principal component analysis, spatial statistical analysis, surveys and other methods, the research analyzes space diversity of the rural economy in Fuzhou and investigates the causes of rural economic disparities, and selects a representative case of rural development to analyze and interpret. The research shows that:(1) The development spatial differences of rural economy in Fuzhou can be divided five economic cycles based on a county unit. The Linchuan area, Nanfeng County, and Zixi County are economic cycles with relatively higher development level; the relatively lower is the backward area in Le’an and Guangchang County.(2) Spatial difference pattern. The development level of Fuzhou rural economy presents a decrease trend from East to West, and North to South.(3) Spatial Autocorrelation Analysis. The hot zones of economic development concentrate in two districts under the jurisdiction of villages of Nanfeng and the downtown of Fuzhou city, while the opposite zones centralize in the villages of Le’an and Guangchuang County.(4) Causes Analysis: the distance to the city center, township enterprises, economic development, infrastructure construction and the population quality, they all have a significant impact on the spatial difference in Fuzhou’s rural economy.Nancheng, Nanfeng and Jinxi all along State Road 206, their rural economicdevelopment were higher than the city average. Le’an and Guangchang both mainly in agricultural production, their conditions for agricultural production are relatively backward, the township enterprises do not have enough capital, technology, human and financial resources to supportall restrict rural economic development.(5) Case Study: the labor economy in Luojiadu, the tangerine industry in Xiazhou, the tourism in Dajueshan, all have contributed to the economic development. It shows expedite the implementation like "one county, one industry" "one village, one product "" one Village One special” has brought a qualitative improvement of rural economic development. Economic development in Liukeng and Yaoxi always lags behind, so they should give full play to its advantages in resources, adjust the industrial structure, adhere to a unified brand, and combine local conditions to develop local rural economy.
