The Governance Mechanism And Enlightenment Of Academic Misconduct Abroad

The paper is with the research background of academic misconduct in representative foreign countries and based on theory of philosophy of science and technology which makes use of literature research, comparative analysis and case analysis, a series of research methods.This paper changes the past academic misconduct research which is limited on the small areas and tries to do the comparative study of academic misconduct governance mechanism in a large region of Europe, Asia, and America, then explores the suitable governance mechanism of academic misconduct for China. The new research angle of view is favorable for deepening the breadth and depth of academic misconduct governance mechanism research, at the same time, laid the foundation study for the perfection of the governance mechanism of academic misconduct in China which provides scientific workers with standardized regulations, and contributes to the construction of socialist harmonious society in China.Firstly, the paper analyzes the research background, purpose and significance, research status at home and abroad, and the main content of the paper with generalization of the thoughts, research methods and innovation. The concept of academic misconduct is a necessary stage of misconduct research, so this paper is based on the definition of academic misconduct as the starting point of the research, analyzes several different concepts of academic misconduct, then explains the academic misconduct among different study stages and different research subject performances. Secondly, the paper intends to analyze the causes of academic misconduct which aims to curb the misconduct from the cultural, ethical,institutional and legal aspects of academic misconduct. Thirdly, the paper selects representative governance mechanism of foreign countries to do the discussion, and then analyzes the differences and complementarities between the representative national governance mechanisms. Finally, the paper discusses the characteristics and performances of academic misconduct in our country, and then discusses enlightenments for our country from foreign representative national governance mechanisms of academic misconduct with putting forward four rationalization proposals for the governance mechanisms in developing academic misconduct.
