As one of the core competitiveness of IT enterprises which are knowledge-intensive and high-tech, technical staff accounts for a larger proportion. While such an important resource is the highest turnover rate role in IT enterprises, which will bring huge losses to IT enterprises. Therefore how to guide and manage technical staff effectively, reduce their turnover intention and increase their organizational commitment and job happiness etc. have become the major issues faced by IT enterprises. Organizational behavior scientists have already found that organizational commitment is an important variable affecting employee turnover intention and job happiness and person-organization value fit is one of the important antecedent variables of organizational commitment. So the paper combine literature research and questionnaires to study the representative IT enterprise’ technical staff of part of our developed cities. Hoping increasing the extent of technical staff’ person-organization value fit can gain their organizational commitment. The paper also study how different kind of demographic variables influence the tow variables above. Finally construct and revise the relationship model. According to empirical research obtain the following conclusions:1. The whole situation of technical staff’ person-organization value fit in our IT enterprises is relatively optimistic, but the whole situation of organizational commitment is general.2. In terms of gender, all dimensions of person-organization value fit are not significantly different, but the economic commitment of organizational commitment are significantly different; in terms of age, the innovation and development orientation, the affective commitment and the normative commitment exist significant differences; in terms of educational background, there are significant differences among the performance orientation, the economic commitment and the chance commitment; in terms of positions, the innovation and development orientation, the affective commitment and the economic commitment have significant differences; in terms of working age, the staff and team orientation, the work respect orientation and the whole dimensions of organizational commitment all present significantly different.3. There is some positive correlation between the person-organization value fit and organizational commitment of IT enterprises’ technical staff both in the overall lever and in all dimensions.4. It is significant predictive to organizational commitment for staff and team orientation, innovation and development orientation and work respect orientation, and among them the staff and team orientation plays the greatest impact role.
