Under the international and domestic low carbon economy natural gas industry development will become the main trend. Natural gas resources are the new strength and important alternative energy and regarded as the clean and effective energy. However, in China energy structure natural gas is only a low proportion, so natural gas is becoming a national industry planning and utilization of new energy development direction and has huge potential for the growth in future. The natural gas strategic channels built in Central Asia and Southeast Asia regions provides an important resource support for the development of China’s natural gas industry, and CNPC and Sinopec companies high speed backbone network construction of natural gas further accelerates the development platform for city gas enterprise. JY city gas company with its unique advantages in resources network advantage, technical advantage, and management advantages is becoming the first-class gas enterprise in the Southwest of China and inevitably stands out in city gas competitionsThis dissertation based on JY city gas company as the research background, starting with the market requirement, the paper comprehensivly analyes the city gas market competition pattern and development strategy, and puts forward the effective strategic safeguard measures and methods. The research conclusion of this paper studies have very important significance for urban planning, scientific use of natural gas resources and promoting the balanced urban and rural development.
