Study On Factors Of Household Clean-energy Consuming-behavior

Energy is the foundation of national economy and social development, and it is also an important guarantee for the development of modern agriculture and buildin g new socialist countryside. For a long time, in Chinese rural areas, the emission of vast amount of greenhouse gas caused by the use of life energy which is mainly composed of biomass energy such as straw, firewood and traditional commercial energy like coal. CO2 emitted by the consumption of biomass energy in the rural area s has a very negative impact on the rural environment and resident health. Promoting clean energy in rural areas is the only way to solve this problem. In the important pe riod of the construction of “two-type society”, energy saving and emission reduction is one of the important work of the government of Handan city. This study is conducti ve to optimizing the energy consumption structure and improving the status of energy consumption in rural areas. It’s also helpful for government to allocate resources fairly and reasonably between urban and rural areas, to make unified plan of urban and rur al energy infrastructure. It has important significance in integration of urban and rural development.With the reference to the theory of planned behavior, Value-Belief-Norm Theory and hypothesis of limited rationality, this paper defines the clean energy consumption behavior, and makes a descriptive analysis of the current situation of rural household clean energy consumption in Handan, and establishes different measurement models for different clean energy consumption behavior. By establishing a multiple linear regression model, Tobit model and Logit model for households’ use and choice behavior clean energy, this paper draws the influence direction on the energy consumption behavior and the affecting degree. In this paper, the conclusions of the study are as follows:(1) The types of clean energy used by farmers in Handan area are relatively simple. The clean energy consumption of farmers is generally low. New clean energy has a low use rate. The traditional biomass energy like straw and firewood has a high utilization rate, and has a strong substitution effect on clean energy.(2)According to the model analysis, factors of family characters, environment al value, views of consumption and finance, city yearning degree, relevant social groups and hobbies have different influence directions and different affecting degrees on consumption behavior of different kinds of energy.(3)In response to the results of descriptive analysis and model analysis, this paper proposes the corresponding recommendations. The government should enforce the relevant publicity and instruction and carry out preferential policies. Demonstration households should be selected to help companies explore the potential clean energy consumption in rural area. Farmers should raise their environmental awareness and choose clean energy in their daily life.
