Analysis On Evolution Model Of Spatial Structure System Of The Pearl River Delta Port

Integrated and coordinated development of regional economy is one of the ways which must be passed correctly handling the relation of regional economy. The internal regional economic conflicts among the China can be rescued by cross-administrative regional economic integration and coordinated development of measures. While the external regional economic conflicts between China and neighboring countries can be solved by regional economic integration of measures to coordinate across borders. The Pearl River Delta, as a cross-administrative regional economic integration to coordinate development of China, at the same time, plays an important role on supporting the regional economic integration in Asia. Therefore, taking the Pearl River Delta as the object of study has important significance on Chinese regional economic integration and coordinated development.Firstly, based on the existing domestic and foreign literature theory, the essay combed out the main literature on evolution model of port spatial structure system. From the date of birth of dual core theory, scholars began to focus on the relationship between the port city and the regional economic integration, which includes two fields, one of which is the relationship between port city and its hinterland, the other one is the port system research. So far, few scholars pay attention to the latter, therefore this paper will select the relevant aspects of the port system as the main research contents.Secondly, by studied on the factors of location features, economic situation, policy environment and infrastructure construction, the essay analyzed the basic elements of the Pearl River Delta port system spatial structure. The Pearl River Delta region, as one of the three major economic circles in China, by virtue of its geographical advantage, factor endowment advantage and good policy environment, has become one of the first regional economic developing regions in China. By analyzing the factors of location, economic status, policy environment and infrastructure construction in Pearl River Delta region, a preliminary understanding of the basic situation of the spatial structure system of the Pearl River Delta port has been reached.Thirdly, in view of the Pearl River Delta port spatial structure, the relationship among Pearl River Delta port system, centralization and decentralization of the Pearl River Delta port system, the relationship between Pearl River Delta port and its adjacent city, the essay made an empirical analysis on the Pearl River Delta port system spatial structure. Through the analysis on the relevant data of port system in the Pearl River Delta from 1990 to 2012, that the trend of centralization and decentralization of the spatial structure system of the Pearl River Delta port has been analyzed. At the same time, the relationships among adjacent ports in Pearl River Delta port system have also been analyzed. Through the analysis, the development of the Pearl River Delta port system can be divided into four stages, respectively in 1990-1999,2000-2003,2004-2006,2007-2012.Finally, according to the model analysis on evolution pattern of the Pearl River Delta port spatial structure system, then the essay put forward the prospect and corresponding policy suggestions on the construction of the Chinese port system. Through the analysis of the data, the development of the spatial structure system of the Pearl River Delta port can be divided into three periods:concentrated period of port system development, transition period of port system development and expansion period of the port system development. On regards of the relationship of port and city system in Pearl River Delta port system, combined with Rimmer model, the evolution pattern of Pearl River Delta port system spatial structure has been concluded. Then, the development of China port system and interactive model in the future has been prospected.
