The forecast accuracy can be effective on inventory control, the efficiency of warehouse way of working management and dead stock decreasing. And it can further impact the whole supply chain cost. During the studying scope, we try best to find and select a proper approach of how to work out a better demand forecast plan with high accuracy on forecast model theory base, and use semiconductor discrete manufactory data for further analysis to improve discrete demand with different product features at the same time. By using the model of forecast improvement in this research, the dissertation offers the forecast method in how to improve the final target of internal warehouse stock management and increase the supply chain working efficiency with low cost.In this thesis, demand forecasting and inventory control theories are firstly introduced. Current forecasting and inventory control technology application in the semiconductor manufactory field is developing very fast. Through the specific of company discrete products, current forecasting and stock management flow are clarified clearly. And more historical data and measurements are used into analysis to find out internal problems and realize the supply chain management status. Based on these data analysis, new demand forecast and inventory control model which is match to product specific is settle down.With comparation of previous management measure and improved measurement, new forecast and stock management model has high efficiency. This model will cause much lower stock holding cost. And at the same time, this improved model is the basic envidence of product sales and inventory control stratgy in the near future.
