As a necessary condition to the survival of people employment is vital to people’s livelihood. Employment is not only related to level of residents’ life but also related to the stability of Xinjiang region and comprehensively deepening reforms can be completed smoothly. For a long time, The government and academia put the focus on the number of employment’s increase while they neglect another dimension- the employment quality. In recent years, the phenomenon of the annual tens of thousands of labor accidents and the escalating labor conflicts has fully exposed the problem of the low quality of employment which caused by pure pursuit employment rate. The employment quality has become a major problem in the economic development of our country and it has caused the widespread concern of the whole society.It is the first time of promoting higher quality employment as a new target of the government to carry out the employment work and the new requirements in the eighteenth congress of the Party’s report. However, it shows that the central government attaches great importance on the quality of employment. Improving the quality of employment is the key point to solve the current employment situation.China introduces the concept of "employment quality" relatively late. The study of employment quality lies in a beginning stage, and then the research achievements is limited. However, the most of t existing research focuses on specific groups such as college graduates and the new generation migrant workers. It lacks the overall evaluation of specific provinces.Xinjiang is an important channel to open the door to the west. Its stability and development is directly related to the construction of a harmonious society and the security of country economic and political. On the basis of the research of Chinese scholars, the paper Starts from the actual development situation of Xinjiang region and build up accord with the characteristics of Xinjiang region employment qualitycomprehensive index system. What’s more, the paper adopts principal component analysis to assess the employment quality(from 2000-2013) of region of Xinjiang and concludes that the employment quality index in Xinjiang. The results show that the Xinjiang region of employment quality significantly below the national average standard and employment quality standard needs to improve in the future. On the basis of the above, the paper uses Eviews6.0 measurement software to analyze Xinjiang’s three variables of employment quality and employment quantity and economic development. The statistical results show that the Xinjiang region of employment quality and employment quantity is not a situation of one loss and another’s gain but in a balanced situation over the long term. Based on the above conclusion, the paper starts from the angles of changing idea, accelerating transformation of the mode of economic growth and attaching great importance to the development of education to put forward some feasible Suggestions on how to improve the quality of employment in Xinjiang.
