Evaluation Of A Shipping Enterprises Company’s Competitiveness

After over 20 years’ development, China’s Shipping enterprise industry has made some breakthroughs in high-tech products and marine engineering equipments manufacturing, making itself an important industry in promoting employment and stabilizing the economy. However, affected by the economic crisis, the international trade market is deteriorating rapidly, and the international Shipping Enterprises market goes into depression. Shipbuilding industry, as the upstream industry chain, falls into winter. China’s shipbuilding industry is currently faced with the problem of not only survival, but also revitalization. If we want to grasp the "opportunity" in the "crisis", we need develop the industry much stronger in both quantity and quality. Therefore, in such situation that China’s economic growth slowing down and the shipbuilding industry trapping in difficulties, the study of China’s shipbuilding industry competitiveness harbors practical significance.This paper first summarizes the research results of competitiveness conducted by domestic and foreign scholars. And then based on the research of enterprise competitiveness theory, we give the specific meaning of enterprise competitiveness of shipbuilding in consideration of the characteristics of shipbuilding enterprise, elaborate and analyze the influence factors of market competitiveness and the principle of establishing index system among Shipping Enterprises enterprises. Then through the analysis of financial analysis and AHP method, we construct the manufacturing enterprise competitiveness evaluation index system model. Through analyzing the competitiveness performance of A enterprises, this paper points out the problems and the causing factors as well, and puts forward the corresponding improvements, which has certain reference value to enhance the competitiveness of other shipbuilding enterprises of our country. Through the evaluation of A company, this paper tries to in order to provide a reference to the shipbuilding industry’s policy-maker in the macro level.
