The real estate industry is a capital-intensive, talent intensive, technology intensive industry, which has many characteristics, such as strong professional, great risk, long payback period of investment, large amount of investment, complex working relationship and so on. In the face of the severe situation of the macroeconomic and the real estate, in order to improve their own competitiveness, the real estate enterprises must change management ideas, seek funding, and strengthen their management system. In the face of increasingly fierce market competition, if the real estate enterprises want to know their performance of human resource management performance, find out the problems existing in the process of human resource management, they must evaluate the real estate enterprise human resources management effectively, which is the basis of improve the efficiency of the real estate enterprise human resources management.The paper puts the domestic real estate enterprise employees as the research object, makes use of the human resource index method to evaluate the real estate enterprise human resources management level. At first, the paper makes a review, discusses some methods to the evaluation of the human resource management, for example, input and output analysis, human resource accounting, human resources audit and human resources index questionnaire. Then the paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each method as well as to the significance of human resource management evaluation, determines the application of the human resources index questionnaire assessment method in the real estate enterprise value. Secondly, with professor Zhao Shuming’s human resource index scale for reference, combining with literature study and expert interview, the paper compiles the initial questionnaire and uses the methods of the focus group discussion and personal interviews to the preliminary investigation to assess. Making use of the spss17.0 to assess the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, which finally confirms the validity of the questionnaire design. According to the questionnaire data, the paper analyzes the HRI(human resource index) of employees of different departments, different levels, different position, which can find out the problems in the real estate enterprise human resources management, and analyzes its reason. Finally, from the perspective of the strengthening employee participation in management and employee relationship management, the paper puts forward some advises to improve the improve real estate enterprise human resources management efficiency, which can provide the real estate enterprise human resource management an improved way of thinking.
