During complex product manufacturing project management, acquiring WBS(Work Breakdown Structure) that can guide the project practice efficiently is very important link. And the working breakdown for complex product manufacturing project is a recycled, gradual refined process, and the process is easily affected by the high complexity of project itself and many other uncertainties inside and outside. Therefore, how to acquire the better WBS and how to evaluate the effectiveness of WBS have be the key question experts thinking about. After extensive reading and case studying, this paper conducted analysis on optimization and evaluation of WBS for complex product manufacturing project.Firstly, this paper analyzes the complexity of network characteristics of WBS, builds a T-T task network model and gets the objective intensity-dependent between task units. Meanwhile, this paper builds mapping relationships between WBS complex network model and FDSM(Fuzzy Design Structure Matrix) based on the similarity of "T-T task network" model and FDSM, and designs the FDSM model of WBS.Secondly, this paper studies the methods of WBS decoupling optimization based on the WBS model. By using the complex networks intercept method, this paper identifies the WBS coupling task sets and simplifies the optimization process. And by introducing tearting algorithm, the paper solves the reordering problem of task units. Then By the complication and decomposition of coupling tasks, the paper reduces the coupling probability of WBS, and expects the possibility of project rework will be reduced and the efficiency of project management will be improved.Thirdly, for ensuring the guiding efficiency of WBS for complex products manufacturing project management, this paper designs the system to evaluate the effectiveness of WBS based on complex network performance evaluation system, and gives the meaning of WBS effectiveness for complex products manufacturing project and its performance forms. With the guidance of design principles, this paper builds the effective evaluation model which includes the effective cluster size and the transmission intensity of effective network. And through the simulation analysis of different topologies of WBS, this paper verifies the rationality and effectiveness of the WBS evaluation system and the necessity of the decoupled optimization.Finally, with examples analysis of shipbuilding enterprise WBS, as well as evaluation and merit of different optimization schemes, this paper verifies the feasibility and advantages of the built WBS model and the decoupling optimization method based on complex network.The research in this paper expands the scope of existing research, and has a certain reference value for the practical application of complex manufacturing project management.
