Study On The Social Security Of Land-lost Farmers In Xintai Industrial District

In recent years, with the gradual development of China’s urbanization and industrialization, accelerating the construction of urban and rural dual social process, more and more agricultural land began enter non-agricultural path. Agricultural land is used by the government and enterprises for the construction land, which make agricultural production activities educed, resulting in a large number of landless peasants. According to statistics, the total number of landless peasants in China has exceeded 40 million people, the land lost farmers become China’s special social security object, and their land compensation and resettlement issues gradually become the focus of social problems.To provide a harmonious environment for the healthy development of the economy and society,we should establish a social security system for landless peasants to protect the basic living standards,maintain the legitimate rights and interests of landless peasants, to ensure the important guarantee the development of social balanced.Peasant problem is always a big problem in China. In our country, farmers’ land is the material basis of their existence. However, the farmers who lose their land cannot guarantee their living source,also cannot enjoy the reasonable smoothly through the social security rights and interests. Their interests lack of protection, the reasons of which are complex and diverse, which need to find out the causes of the landless peasants’ life to solve the problems in the running of the social security system of landless peasants.With the method of analyzing literatures, studying cases, qualitative investigation,quantitative study and comparative study, this thesis takes Xintai industrial district for example, studies the status, existing problems and causes of social security of land-lost farmers in terms of land requisition compensiation, social security, land-lost farmers themsives. According to the study of existing problems, this thesis gave the suggestions and countermeasure of improving social security of land-lost farmers.
