A Study On The Government’s Strategy For The Development Of Cross-border E-commerce

In recent years, the cross-border e-commerce trade of a new business transactions,is in a rapid increasing trend. Relying on the Internet to reshape the international trade pattern, China’s success to seize the opportunity to develop, become a new fulcrum of world trade growth. All levels of local government in Jiangsu province is to be a new growth point of the cross-border e-commerce trade in the economic development of foreign trade. February 2014, the provincial government office issued a document, to clear Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi were the 3 cities which is to carry out cross-border e-commerce trade pilot. Today,as Suzhou, more than 40000 enterprises have throughed various types of e-commerce platform and access to trade opportunities successfully and achieved more than 650 billion RMB trade turnover, which is to accounting for about10% of the GDP in Suzhou. Of course, in the process of cross-border e-commerce trade booming, for the Suzhou government took a lot of positive initiative, we made brilliant achievements. However, the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce trade in Suzhou has also produced a series of new problems. These issues also restrict the faster and more healthy development of cross-border e-commerce trade in Suzhou. Therefore,how to give full play to the positive role of local government, to better promote the sustainable development of cross-border e-commerce trade, is attracting more and more attention of the social people. And how to within the framework of the national laws’ allowable range, use a platform of the pilot cities, and daring pilot, explore formed in line with local realities, to boost cross-border electronic commerce trade has become a problem that government need to be thought of.This paper analyzes the Suzhou government to promote cross-border e-commerce trade and cross-border e-commerce development achievements, based on the analysis ofthe Suzhou cross-border e-commerce trade development process, and analyzes the new problems, and analyzes the causes of the problem, put forward the government to solve the problem, the purpose is to be better to play the role of government, formulate new laws and regulations of cross-border e-commerce trade, to ensure that cross-border e-commerce trade faster and more healthy development and provide decision support,and better promote the orderly development of cross-border e-commerce trade.
