The Development And Application Of Cross-border E-commerce In China

With the government's increasing efforts to support economic commerce industry,many enterprises,especially those medium-size and small enterprises have raised awareness of using economic business.At the time when the existing comprehensive E-commerce platform is developing steadily,new models and many enterprises focusing on new industries have emerged.E-commerce markets in China will enter into more competitive stage and the trend of diversified development is obvious.And China's E-commerce market will develop in the direction of service depth gradually.In this paper,cross-border e-commerce industry chain is divided into three areas,namely upstream suppliers,supporting service system and the downstream customers.Then this passage takes DHgate cross-border electric business platform as an example,analyzing the cross-border e-commerce application in our country.Since DHgate launched in 2004,it has been focusing on cross-border electricity field for over 12 years,and it is the world's leading online trading platform for foreign trade.This paper conducted in-depth study of its upstream suppliers,supporting service system and the downstream buyers and came up with some issues existing the operation such as intellectual property,international payments,incomplete logistics system as well as incomplete credit rating system.Later this paper discusses how DHgate should take the available opportunity to avoid risks and get competitive strategies and problem solving approaches of long-term development.In the conclusion of this article,it points out the direction for the future development of e-commerce market represented by DHgate and provides some inspiration for DHgate to expand new operation models.
