Nowadays, the competition among companies are more and more hard,accordingly the competition of talent is more and more huge. Company B is an old foreign company, he has a good reputation on talent development due to the advertisement of pesonnel management, but still the pressure of talent competition is very big. In the company, technical associates are the key group, how to set up their work, develop them and reten them become the problem. Career path development and management could help to tap technical associates and motivate them to work actively. According to research of company B’s stratigic and analysis of problems among technical associates, the writer put forward the aim and meaning of technical associates’ career path development. With the application of career path theory, the writer design a usefull and applicable career path for technical associates in company B, meanwhile technical associates could predict their furtuer development as there is a clear career ladder for their promotion based on ability, competency and qulification.
