In the stage of high-speed urbanization development, due to the shortage of resources, China urban expansion relies much on land acquisition. According to the current level of urbanization and economic development speed, after 10 years the total number of land-lost farmers will be close to 100 million. However, vulnerable land-lost farmers, face many difficulties in satisfying their needs during the urbanization process. With the increasing consciousness of land-lost farmers, the number of group petition incidents caused by land expropriation discontent rises simultaneously, according to the ministry of land and resources statistics, China’s average annual land requisition for nearly 2000 square kilometer, rural mass incidents triggered by land expropriation accounts for 65% of all the rural mass incidents, which has become "one of the important problems that affect rural social stability".The issue of relationship between land-lost farmers’ informal training and human capital promotion(including the direction of the path, effect, regulating mechanism, etc.), analysis of land-lost farmers’ informal training intrinsic mechanism, is necessary. The core and fundamental problem of land-lost farmers is to promote urbanization.Because of the vulnerability of farmer itself, only safeguard measures cannot satisfy the development of their future, to promote development, the key is to effectively promote human capital. Related studies show that informal training plays an important role in enhancing human capital.Through literature review, this article believes land-lost farmers resettlement compensation mode in our country is experiencing from subsistence guarantee to promote development. Government has introduced relevant policies on the job skills training and entrepreneurship training, and the role of informal training in practice has been greatly neglected, existing research still stays in the preliminary exploratory stage. Based on grounded theory, this study develops social network characteristics-situation-human capital enhancement model to explain the informal training mechanism of land-lost farmers. Through investigation, this article collects first-hand information, through coding analysis, this article construct characteristics-situation- human capital enhancement model as the main line oftheoretical model, social network characteristics including network intensity and network scale, quality, trust, learning features include learning time and learning intention. External land situation can adjust the relationship between land-lost farmers’ social network characteristics and the increase of human capital, land acquisition situation including resettlement mode and land location. Empirical studies demonstrate that the social network characteristics(communication, trust, quality network intensity and network scale) have a direct positive effect to promote human capital, by influencing the land-lost farmers’ willingness to learn and study time, indirectly affect human capital. Resettlement way can adjust relationship between trust, network intensity, network scale and the enhancement of human capital respectively, land location can adjust relationship between the network scale, network strength and human capital enhancement. AMOS21 software is used to verify this model. Case study also proves that informal training play a key role training to enhance human capital, for its future development and the cultivation of next generation.Based on these findings, practical policies for encouraging informal training among land-lost farmers are proposed. First, multi-agent comprehensive including the government, the neighborhood committees and the land-lost farmers should make giant efforts to optimization of land-lost farmers’ social network characteristics;second, provide land-lost farmers with more development opportunities on the basis of protection compensation; third, set up a pre-employment training system to improve the land-lost farmers’ human capital and promote informal training; last, focus on the advantage of industry development to improve farmers’ human capital.
