Since reform and opening-up, our agricultural business entities has changed from the family-run farmers dominant pattern at initial stages for reform and opening-up to many types of business entities coexist at the present stage. By combing domestic and foreign related documents about agricultural business entities, we summarize on the basis of relevant literature and theory,draw its excellent aspects to better development of our agricultural. In modern agriculture development situation, we summarize the conception of agricultural business entities which includes professional large, agricultural enterprises, family farms, farmer cooperatives, and make depth discussion of agriculture business entities background, concept, connotation and evolution.From the point of view agricultural business entities evolution, it experienced land reform period,agricultural cooperative period, people’s commune period, reform and opening up period.
