Research On The International Competitiveness For China’s Vegetable Seeds Export Companies

Agriculture plays an important role in every national economy. Seeds are especially a most important step in the agriculture production. With the development of world economy, different kinds of vegetable needed mean that different kinds of vegetable seeds are needed as well. The increasing demand of vegetable product in our market makes our vegetable seeds company growing well at the same time. But in recently years, lots of foreign companies entered the Chinese market and occupied a large amount of the market share. In order to let the food safety and core technology in our hand, we must strive to develop our vegetable seed industry, and let China’s vegetable seed become competitive in the international market.This paper attempts to adopt qualitative research method. The author took Gansu Duhang Seed Co.,ltd. as the case study. We found some problems with our vegetable seeds company compare to some foreign companies. We also found some methods to solve these issues; such as we can build a giant company, invest more research funds and use some better marketing skills. We hope that those research results can help the vegetable seed enterprise become very competitive in the world market.
