The severe quality problem not only hinders the client development severely, but also affects the profit directly. The analysis shows that the top issue is odor in kettle. Thus, this thesis specializes in the odor in kettle. With the scientific and rigorous attitude, i list out the possible causes for kettle odor by brainstorming. Combined with the test data on the complained samples from the authorities, some related control actions are raised for the responsible units to implement in the production. The supervision on the implementation will be continuous for improving. The accumulated data and experience form an effective solution for kettle odor. Therefore, we found out the management principle and method, combined with Xinbao’s quality management at this moment, I sum up some effective quality management system that accords with the actual situation, such as quality-risk fine mechanism and manufacture process management system. These experience and ideas provide reference for solutions for severe quality issues in the industry, like kettle odor.the consistent improvement thoroughly resolved the kettle odor issue, which made the COPQ dropping obviously. The issue is solved and it won client’s affirmation, also the profit. The continuous promotion of quality is what an enterprise has to do and it is the only path to raise the core competence of the firm. Xinbao develops from a small workshop to a tremendous household appliances manufacture center, from serving low-end clients to serving world-class clients, from pursuing output and efficiency to pursuing quality.
