Employee satisfaction is an index which measures the staffs’ current job satisfaction, its degree has a direct impact on creativity and enthusiasm for employees at work. Nowadays, according to more and more highly competitive steel industry and increasing talent mobility, T company increasingly recognizes that it can achieve the goals of retaining and motivating talent by improving employee satisfaction.The paper takes T company as target and has specialized research on company’s employee satisfaction issues. It uses interview and questionnaire meethods to study on the corporate’s culture image satisfaction, job satisfaction, business development and personal development satisfaction(including staff training, promotion, compensation, work environment) four aspects for fully multi-angle investigation, then have a deep grasp of employee satisfaction of the company production and operation, management, incentives. Through investigation the following conclusions can be drew:The staffs have a higher satisfaction of company image, but company still needs to further enhance the cohesion and strengthene the building of enterprise culture; In terms of the work environment and the work itself, the staffs acknowlwdge the working style of grass-roots leaders, and also are more satisfied with leaders’ caring subordinates and respecting every employee.Labor relations and human relations are more harmonious, but the selection and appointment mechanism exists dissatisfied.There is a positive correlation between that employee’s age(seniority) and satisfaction, the service is longer then the satisfaction is higher. In terms of work reward and management, the lowest actual scores of satisfaction shows that staffs are not satisfied with current salaries and benefits. After analysis of the human resources management problems of T company, the paper puts forword to effective countermeasures for improving employee satisfaction by using employee satisfaction theories and combining with employees’ current expectations and aspirations.
