The new generation of migrant workers is a major component of the migrant workers group.They work in various industries in the city,especially manufacturing business.According to the survey,most of them have higher career expectations,and have stronger intentions to stay in the urban cities,in order to seek for more space of individual development.There are more career opportunities in the cities.With the speeding of information technology,modern industry puts higher requirements to migrant workers.On the one hand,the demand of labor in the market shows a new trend of gradually shifting from labor-intensive industries to the technology industry.On the other hand,Although the new generation of migrant workers have improved academic qualifications,most still lack the technical knowledge and employability.Shortage of skilled workers became a serious problem.To solve above problems,our government has conducted various types of career training for migrant workers.Due to the more departments involved in this training and the lack of data,we can’t figure out the real effect of this training.At present,there are few empirical studies on the relationship between career training and employability for the new generation of migrant workers.Most essays took career training as independent variable,discussing the relationship between job training and human capital,income and job mobility.Few scholars have made a complete definition of the employability of the new generation of migrant workers in our country.No one has studied the impact of their learning motivation on the effectiveness of job trainings.Therefore,regarding the learning motivation of the new generation workers as moderator variable,this study studied the influence of government-sponsored career trainings on workers’ employability.Not only enriches Not only enriches relevant theoretical studies on the migrant workers’ job training and employability,this study can also provides a theoretical evidence for the improvement of employability of migrant workers.Through reading many documents and essays and discussing with trainedmigrant workers,this study took the new generation of migrant workers who receive the government-sponsored job training as the research object,constructed a theoretical model of the relationship between career training and employability for workers.After questionnaires were distributed and recycled,the author conducted the reliability and validity of the scale analysis,and used SPSS 23.0 to analysis the difference of different demographic variables for the new generation of migrant workers.The findings are as follows:(1)The main body and content of job training have an impact on employability improvement.The training courses which entrusted to other institutions to organize and technical training courses play a stronger role to enhance the employability.(2)The verification of learning motivation has been verified.Learning motivation plays a regulatory role in the impact of career training on workers’ employability.
