Study On Circulation Efficiency And The Improvement Of The Quality Of New-type Urbanization

Urbanization is not only the objective law of economic development, but also an important symbol of modernization. Since 1978 China has entered the stage of urbanization strides,in 2014 our country’s urbanization rate has reached 54.77%, from the level of urbanization viewpoint the society has entered the primary city, but from the way of life and urban and rural coordination viewpoint, it’s still far. People’s attention to the scale of urbanization is also transferred to the quality of urbanization.Circulation is the basis for the generation and development of urbanization, and urban is the carrier of circulation industry. The core of new-type urbanization is people-oriented, it aims for sustainable economic development, the efficient use of energy and residents to live and work in peace and contentment, rural-urban integration. The development of circulation industry, on the one hand, establishes the exchange interaction platform to promote urban-rural integration process; On the other hand, it absorbs the urban and rural surplus labor force and increases employment and the income of residents, consumption, etc. Therefore, the development of circulation industry is intimately involved with the quality of new-type urbanization.This paper reviews the theory of circulation and urbanization. Then, on the base of the analysis of the mechanism action that circulation efficiency to enhance the quality of the new-type urbanization, building circulation efficiency and quality of the evaluation system, using gray comprehensive evaluation to measure both of them. After that, adopt Spearman correlation coefficient method and regression analysis to measure the relationship between circulation efficiency and new-type urbanization. This article has collected 30 provinces and municipalities in 2009--2013 panel data for empirical analysis, from the perspective of overall and regional research on the relationship between China’s new-type urbanization quality and circulation efficiency. The results show that: there is a positive correlation between circulation efficiency and the quality of new-type urbanization on the whole, but interaction is insufficient, the trend of relationship has weakened in recent years; sub-regional perspective, in eastern, the circulation efficiency and the quality of the new urbanization is most closely related, middle area takes second place, but western area is negatively correlated. According to analysis of the relationship between circulation efficiency and quality of new-type urbanization put forward policy suggestions to promote the development of positive interaction between them.
