Along with our country economic development into the new normal, the demand of electric power industry appears new features:Firstly, the electricity demand growth has fallen sharply. Secondly, the structure of electricity demand has adjusted, the proportion of the secondary industry power consumption has declined, tertiary industries and residents living power gradually become the main driving force of the whole society electricity growth. In the face of economic situation and under the pressure of the constraints of resources and environment, interaction between supply and demand will become a new mode of electricity supply, demanding to promote further energy consumption revolution, promote energy conservation, improve the use efficiency, strengthen the technical innovation, promote clean energy technology and cultivate new economic growth point. Power grid enterprises will be confronted with serious challenges, such as industrial structure adjustment, environmental protection requirements, technical updates, managing changes, the shortage of technological talent and so on. Stressful task of reform and serious environmental situation put forward new higher requirements for human resource management.The research object of this paper is A company which is a large state-owned electricity enterprise directly under the national power group, facing the pressure of fossil energy exhaustion and global climate warming. Power structure adjustment and transformation requires the electric power enterprise to go clean and low carbon way, to form green low carbon cycle development. Electric power enterprise must strengthen technology innovation and speed up the development and utilization of renewable energy and nuclear energy. Knowledge workers who are the main body of organization transformation, technological innovation and market development are the principal creator of value and important production factor, determing the sustainable competitive advantage of enterprises, therefore, how to motivate knowledge workers has become an important problem for A company. According to the problem of motivation situation of A company, tihs paper adopts theoretical research and empirical investigation, using of 16PF testing analysis and DISC test analysis. This paper analyse personality characteristics of A company knowledge workers in detail and the different personality characteristics tendency to different motivational pattern.This paper points out that if A company want to give full play to the advantages and potential of knowledge workers, A company should optimize the original motivation system on the basis of analysing the personality characteristics of knowledge workers. According to the different personality type characteristics, A company should pay full attention to individual differences, establish the personality type library of knowledge workers, improve the salary incentive mechanism, improve people post matching degree, formulate differentiated career planning, provide targeted training for employees, provide work which is challenged and make knowledge employees be able to work independently. According to the motivation theory, this paper puts forward the guarantee measures for the implementation of motivation system, including improving the specialization level of managers, establishing scientific and fair personnel mechanism, improving the performance appraisal system of knowledge workers and establishing the feedback system of incentive method of knowledge workers.Based on the research results of A company knowledge workers personality, this paper try to construct incentive system in terms of personality characteristics, providing new idea for A company incentive management work, improving management efficiency and reducing management costs. Knowledge workers will recieve development and self-realization in the enterprise growth, at the same time providing a reference for other companies of electric power industry which have relevanted background and resources background.
