The Influence Of Entrepreneurial Network And Entrepreneurial Resource Integration On New Venture Performance In Uncertainty Environment

With the promotion of scientific and technological innovation, entrepreneur activity which greatly promote the national and regions’ economic development,technological progress and the increase of employment opportunities, is booming world widely and has become a global issue of concern. However, the disadvantages caused by the new growth make the new enterprise have to face the entrepreneurial resource constraint problem, and the lack of experience has seriously hindered the survival and development of new enterprise.Entrepreneurial network which connects with a lot of information and other commercial networks can provide entrepreneurial resources and enhance new venture performance. Entrepreneurial resource integration can increase new venture capabilities and maintain competitive advantage. Researches about entrepreneurial network,entrepreneurial resource integration and new venture performance did not come to a same conclusion, and researches on the entrepreneurial resource integration is more based on causation and ignores the use of effectuation. Therefore, it is necessary to research deeply and considers the influence of situational factors. Environmental uncertainty is one of the characteristics of entrepreneurial environment, with different degrees of uncertainty, new enterprise has different dependence on entrepreneurial network, and the choice of entrepreneurial resource integration is not same. At last,they will all have influence on the relationship among entrepreneurial network,entrepreneurial resource integration and new venture performance.Therefore, this article obtains from entrepreneurial resource integration decision logic, thinks over the environment uncertainty, and discusses the relationship among entrepreneurial network, entrepreneurial resource integration and new venture performance.This article takes an empirical analysis based on data about 290 new ventures in Hangzhou, then draws four conclusions: First, entrepreneurial network has positive influence on new venture performance; Second, entrepreneurial resource integration which based on effectuation has positive influence on new venture performance;Third, three dimensions of entrepreneurial resource integration which based on effectuation mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial network and new venture performance; Fourth, environmental uncertainty moderates the relationship between and entrepreneurial network entrepreneurial resource integration which based on effectuation.This article makes contributions to the social network theory, the effectuation theory and the resource management theory, and provides some guidance for the practice of venture resource management. First, this article discusses the influence of entrepreneurial network on new venture performance and reveals a new path between entrepreneurial network and new venture performance. Second, this article applies effectuation theory to analysis entrepreneurial resource integration, and expands the field of the effectuation theory in entrepreneurship. Third, this article enriches the social network theory, the effectuation theory and the resource management theory. In addition, this article provides theoretical guidance for new enterprise how to develop entrepreneurial network, and how to integrate entrepreneurial resource.
