| With the great advancement of social economy and increasing change of clients’ demands, competition between supply chains has dominated the market by gradually replacing the competition between companies, which bears the advantage of being time-based competition. Under such circumstance, many key manufacturers have considered the on-time order delivery (OTD) which is based on supply chains as the essential competitive power. In this paper on the one hand, we concluded that the low rate of order delivery is attributed to the violent changes of market demands and low supplying ability of supply chains. On the other hand, we found that it is the insufficient reliability of supply chains that leads to low supplying ability of supply chains. Our work focuses on the study of OTD on the basis of reliability of supply chains (RSC).Starting from the market demands as well as the structures of supply chains, we have built a structure model of the manufacturing supply chains and qualitatively analyze the constituting factors of the RSC. Then, we modeled the whole structure of the supply chain system based on GO method, analyzing the reliability of the supply chain in the aspects of degree of reliability, risk probability, and failure rate. According to these factors, we have divided the RSC into four parts:reliability of outside environment, reliability of suppliers’delivery time, reliability of manufacturers’work, and distributors’reliability. Important as the order delivery time is, concentration has been put on the study of reliability of the suppliers’delivery time and manufacturers’ work time. Based on the Markov process the transferring figure of suppliers’delivery system status have been drawn, and we analyzed the reliability by modeling suppliers’ delivery time in each step. In addition, we elaborated the manufacturing processes of key companies using the electric power manufacturing industry. The mixed manufacturing model with combination of manufacturing and assembling was divided into eight work flows, which were modeled based on the graph theory. From these models, process capability index method has been employed to study the reliability of the time of key work processes. The statistics tolerance method was used to tolerance interval of key manufacturers’overall work time and tolerance value of every process. The reliability of key manufacturers’work time was evaluated by the 6o standard. Furthermore, we plot the function of the reliability of suppliers’delivery time from constructing a transferring matrix between the reliability, failure rate, maintenance rate, and the average time in order to do quantitive research. Substituting the actual data computation nodes and overall reliability, analyze the relationship between reliability and on-time delivery rates, build up the early warning models of on-time order delivery.Assuming that the distribution of the suppliers, manufactures, and distributors meet the exponential distribution, functions of reliability and failure rate could be made. The relationship between the reliability of function graphics and time could be concluded as well. When the reliability cannot meet the demands or the delivery time was not located in the tolerance interval, the accuracy of every process was calculated, which could help to find the most crucial process influencing the reliability of manufacturers’work time. In this way, it would be beneficial for the manufacturers to understand the reliability of their own, diagnose key work processes, and improve the ability of OTD. In the process of analysis, we combined the practical data with the theoretical methods to verify the measurement of the reliability of supply chains, which could assist in monitoring the running process, decreasing the happening of unreliable factors, shortening the order delivery period, and improve the probability of OTD. And it is of great significance for companies to make marketing strategy. |
