The Study Of Energy Consumption,industrial Structure And Economic Growth Of Henan Province

In the process of development of human society, It is essential for energy consumption.It is both the basic resources and the strategic support for the rapid economic development of a country or a region.Since the 21 st century, with the support of its own superior conditions and the "Rise of Central China" and other national policy, the economy of Henan Province obtained a comprehensive and rapid development.It has realized the transformation from a major agricultural province to a industrial province.Meanwhile, the contradiction between energy’s supply and demand has become increasingly prominent, and the optimisation of industrial structure is not perfect. All of these have become the restricting factors of achieve leap-forward development of economic.For this, we used the knowledge of economic theory, statistical analysis and other aspects of the research methods related fields to study the interaction among energy consumption, industrial structure and economic growth based on the actual situation of Henan Province.By the empirical results,we judged the reasonability of the layout of industrial structure and the allocation of energy for long-term development of Henan Province,and then we gived relevant policy recommendations to optimize.The paper is divided into five parts in total, from different aspects to state and analysis the relationship among energy consumption, industrial structure and economic growth in Henan Province.Firstly,combing and summarizing the relevant literature systematically. By reference to the research results, laying a theoretical foundation for this paper.The second part of the article is to analysize the economic theory involved in this paper, Laying the groundwork for the later.The third part is to summarize and analyze the realities of Henan Province in these three areas. Through the analysis found that: The speed of Henan Province’s economic’s growth has increased, at the same time the energy consumption have also appeared the phenomenon of synchronous growth; energy consumption structure is single. The coal consumption occupies the dominant position for a long time;consumption patterns are still extensive. Industrial structure has achieved by the "two,one, three " to " two, three, one ", at the same time, the proportion of secondary industry and tertiary industry is also the largest energy consumption.The fourth part is from the perspective of measured, by collecting data, building the index system and statistical model, and then use the methods of Granger causality,cointegration, impulse response, variance analysis and others to have a empirical research.The results show that: the system constituted by energy consumption,industrial structure and economic development in Henan is a long-term stable equilibrium relationship in the course of the operation; energy consumption can play a crucial stimulating effects in the long term economic growth, from long-run equilibrium equation can be concluded that every 1% increase in energy consumption will stimulate economic growth 2.379547%; for three indicators of Henan Province,the Granger relation between industry structure and economic growth is a two-way interaction, and the Granger relation between industrial structure and energy consumption is only a one-way causal relationship; The contradictions within the system’s internal structure are more prominent, and have a large effect.The fifth part is to draw conclusions from the analysis of the previous sections, and make policy recommendations for the problem.
