Research On The Project Management Of Large Equipmwnt To Deal With Fast Delivery

A few years ago, with the sustained and stable boom and the high-speed and steady development of social economy, the demand for electric power in China had sustained rapid growth, and as electric power generation equipment, steam turbine manufacturing industry had a spur development. However, with the slowdown in economic development since 2013, the growth rate of electricity demand has also gradually slowed down. At the same time, as the high-speed development of electric power industry in the previous years, the electric power market has been saturated, and the demand of steam turbine has gradually reached the saturation. When the demand of new projects plummeted, new opportunities appeared in the market of turbine renovation. As far as turbine renovation is concerned, an important feature is short delivery cycle, customers demand fast delivery. How to satisfy the demand of fast delivery is competitive. With the change of the external environment of steam turbine manufactory enterprises, the focus of the project management of a steam turbine manufacturer should change from how to adapt to the huge demand of the market into how to respond to the demand of fast delivery.Based on the above background, this paper studies the theories of project management and project portfolio management, and focuses on the theory and method of project schedule management, and use the theory of project management to analyze the current situation and put forward the idea of improving concerned turbine renovation. First, in this paper, according to the characteristics of the manufacturing of steam turbine in our company, the character of our company’s project management are analyzed; Then, based on responding to the customer’s demand of fast delivery, using the theory of management, from all stages of project management life circle, a thorough analyze of the project management process in our company is carried on, and find out the constraints of fast delivery; At the last, aimed at how to responding to the demand of fast delivery, the project management process in our company is analyzed,and this paper put forward some opinions on how to deal with the problems of fast delivery.
