Research Of Location For Distribution Center On Grey Analytic Hierarchy Process And Multiobjective Optimization Model

With the emergence of supply chain management, the popularity of internet applications, and the prosperous of electronic commerce, The word "logistics" is gradually being known to people. As a kind of productive service activity, the logistics changes form a kind of traditional rear service work into a key link for enterprises to reduce the costs and improve the efficiency of production and operation. As the key node of logistics system, distribution center plays an important role, it also matters the service efficiency and economic benefits of the operation subject who employs the distribution center, the location planning of distribution center has a major impact on the logistics system. A scientific and reasonable location decision may save logistics costs and expenses, improve logistics efficiency and provide quality service for the customers.It’s a huge work to make the location decision, because during the decision process, the multiple qualitative factors and the quantitative resource constraints, objectives which influence the location decision are both need to be considered. Therefore, This paper research the location problem of distribution center, the main works are as follows:1.An overview of the research background, significance and the current research of the related issues. Summarize the qualitative methods, the quantitative methods, the methods combine qualitative and quantitative methods used in the distribution center location problem. Contrast three useful evaluation methods and four different models combine qualitative and quantitative methods apply to the location problem. Finally find the methods to solve the location problem for this paper.2.After analyzing the factors influence the distribution center location, setting up an evaluation indexes system about the distribution center location. By using the grey analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the candidate distribution centers, obtain the numerical scores of evaluating. These scores are used as parameters in the mathematics model of distribution center location.3.Build a multi-objective location model includes the evaluation result, quantitative constraints and objective functions to solve this problem. This model includes three objective functions: the first objective is to minimize the total logistics cost, the second objective is to maximize the capacity utilization of the distribution centers which are been built and the third objective is to maximize the mean evaluating scores of distribution centers needed to build. In order to express the actual situation to a certain extent, using the triangle fuzzy number to express the demands.4.Use a example to verify the model and use some software tools to calculate this example. Finally, analyze the results.
