In recent years, the Myanmar tourism industry developed rapidly, especially for its inbound tourism. As a beautiful country in Southeast Asia, Myanmar has beautiful natural scenery, unique cultural customs and deep tourism resources base, attracting many international tourists eyes. As a rapid development of the tourism industry in the country, Myanmar inbound tourism plays an important role in stimulating the development of domestic tourism, has become an important channel for international cooperation and exchange. In the face of expanding international outbound tourism market and neighboring countries outbound tourism demand. The development of Myanmar inbound tourism market ushered in a new development opportunity.Based on the domestic and foreign inbound tourism market research results, this paper took the Myanmar inbound tourism market development as the research subject and the second largest inbound tourism market of Myanmar——China as a case study. Through the literature analysis method, this paper introduced the concept and theoretical basis in detail, and analyzed Myanmar’s inbound tourism development present situation and the advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of inbound tourism market development. Based on the previous study, this paper used the method of questionnaire to survey Chinese tourists travel behavior deeply and obtained the basic structure characteristics and travel behavior characteristics, tourist consumption behavior, spatial characteristics of tourism activities and tourism in Myanmar overall evaluation, grasp the variation characteristics and development trend of Myanmar travel demand for Chinese tourists, insight into China’s tourist market on the development trend of tourism in Myanmar.By analyzing the inbound tourism in Myanmar, the Chinese tourist market development exist some problems:Long-term effects of Myanmar domestic political environment issue, inadequate infrastructure; a single tourism product, less attractive to Chinese tourists and propaganda in Chinese tourist market is not enough. Finally, based on the above analysis, from ensuring security and stability of the country tourism environment, Enhancing Chinese tourists tourism infrastructure and service experience, strengthening the Chinese tourists individualized tourism products development, Strengthening the sino-burmese tourism cooperation marketing, this paper put forward scientific and reasonable solutions and development countermeasures to provide valuable market research reference for the Myanmar authorities to develop Chinese tourism market, and other country tourism markets.
