Evaluation On The Development Of New Urbanization In Shanxi Province

Urbanization is an important measure of a country’s economic development, to a certain extent, the rapid development of urbanization can not only stimulate domestic demand, but also will promote economic development. As this year is the first year of "Thirteen Five", re-examining the status of the province’s new urbanization, the development of effective measures and reasonable targets is very important to us.Based on the theoretical analysis above, the paper analy new urbanization in Shanxi Province overtaken by theoretical analysis- positive developments and issues. Then, the paper analy new urbanization in Shanxi Province overtaken by empirical analysis- Manpower five areas : social development, social progress, functional, urban and rural environment and the index system, combining the data in Shanxi Province from the year 2004 to 2013, the paper optimize the factors relatived; then determine the index weight by CRITIC method; then use the collected database, the paper evaluate the urbanization from the point of both overall and time-space. Finally, according to the analysis done countermeasures, hoping it provides a theoretical basis to the healthy development of new urbanization in Shanxi.
