With the development of science and technology and social progress, the world has entered the era of knowledge economy, the core competitiveness of enterprises has changed into knowledge capital and human capital. In this context, the knowledge worker who combined with knowledge capital and human capital has attracted more and more attention to enterprise managers. Recruitment is an important way to improve the core competitive ability of enterprises, the effect of recruitment is directly affected by the choice of the recruitment channels; at the same time, the recruitment of knowledge workers is the key step to improve the core competitiveness of enterprises. Official data show that in 2014, small and micro enterprises contribution to the tax revenue accounted for more than 50%, the contribution to exports exceeded 68%, in particular, the contribution to the GDP of our country is more than 65% and has absorbed more than 75% of the employed persons, consequently, small and micro enterprises is an important driving force of China’s economic growth.First and foremost, the research object of this paper is X company, which is a small enterprise engaged in the development and production of chemical coatings, it has a lot of typical characteristics of China small and micro enterprises. The purpose of this paper is find out the specific solutions to the problem of recruitment channel selection of knowledge worker in X company, although X company is an isolated case, but the company has a lot of representative problems, consequently, the purpose of this paper is not only practical significance, but also has some theoretical significance.What is more, this paper takes the X company as the research object in this paper, mainly used the method of literature review, case analysis, comparative analysis, expert interview method and questionnaire survey method and so on. The process of concrete research has three steps. Firstly, this paper collected a large number of relevant literature data. Secondly, this paper surveyed the result of various recruitment channels of X company for the past two years. Lastly, this paper conducted a questionnaire survey on the staff of the company in the recruitment methods and channels. And then analyze the theory and data to find out the specific solutions to the problem of recruitment channel selection of knowledge worker in X company. Finally, this paper also examines the recruitment effect of the channel selection problem in the actual recruitment, and the result is the effect of the recruitment is improved, so it is proved that the method is effective to solve the problem of the knowledge workers recruitment channel.Last but not least, through the research on the problem of selecting recruitment channels of the knowledge workers in X company. This paper designed a set of practical solutions. Because X company has many typical characteristics of small and medium sized enterprises in China, the solutions proposed in this paper can be used for reference to other small and micro enterprises in our country.
