With the rapid development of information technology and Internet, e-commerce has been widely used in international trade. E-commerce not only provides more information, network advantages and electronic network to every single process to the traditional business activities, but also brings infinite business opportunities for many companies. As a result of the electronic commerce globalization, cross-border e-commerce business becomes more and more important in Chinese global trade development and has changed the traditional patterns of world trade. Compared with the traditional trade, the fact is that cross-border electricity shortened many processes from wholesale to retail,effectively reduced the cost of business. It brings a fresh look to Chinese real economy and foreign trade economy. Cross-border business will also trigger the new economic growing in Chinese development of the new industry.In recent years, although national trading business takes the pressure from unceasing declining export growth and slim advantages on traditional business, our country’s volume of cross-border business keeps the rising trend surprisingly. Cross-border e-commerce emerged to give benefits to the enterprises. China also realized the huge potential of cross-border e-commerce and issued the relevant policies to support it. In December 2015, President Xi pointed out ’network strengthens nation’strategy to greatly support cross-border business. In March 2016, the first Chinese cross-border business summit inaugurated in Baoan district Shenzhen. All above means that the cross-border e-commerce has stepped into’the golden era’. Under the new trade situation, the electricity enterprises in our country have turned to cross-border electricity one after another. At the same time, the traditional foreign trade industry also make transition to e-business by managing online business. This new model of "Internet+foreign trade" in cross-border e-commerce provides a new support to the foreign trade development and greatly promotes the optimal allocation of resources and the rapid development of the relevant trade industry in various countries and regions.Although cross-border e-commerce industry started late in China, the enormous economic benefits should not be overlooked to our nation’s trading companies and national economy, which has the great significance.Firstly, this paper explains the concept,features and classifications of the cross-border industry, then compares the differences of the operation process between the cross-border industry and the traditional trading business. All the theory is based on the H-O model, technological innovation theory, transaction cost theory and the theory of agglomeration effect.As a new industry, cross-border e-commerce faces many problems and challenges at the same time of the rapid development. We should further think about how to seize the cross-border electronic business opportunities in the complex background of economic globalization and how to deal with the difficulties and challenges of cross-border electricity business rationally? Thus, this paper analyzes the status and issues of Chinese cross-border e-commerce in the sight of macroscopic point, then takes the example of Alibaba, the Chinese typical cross-border enterprise, to describe its SWOT in the view of microscopic point.As the top company in Chinese e-commerce industry, the severe challenges that Alibaba are facing during the business can be the mirror to most of the e-commerce enterprises in China.Finally, in the base of the research, this paper introduce the strategy and method to deal with the whole e-commerce, the limit of the Chinese e-commerce and the threat and challenge of the cross-border enterprises, hoping it can be the reference for the Chinese cross-border enterprises to develop positively and strengthen Chinese trading industry.
