Study On The Construction Modes Of Overseas Storage Of Cross-border Iogistics In China

In recent years,the cross-border e-commerce has received great attention in China.The government introduced the policy to support it,many enterprises have carried out the business of it,scattered merchants who rely on the Internet business have paid attention to it,more and more consumers have been interested in it,all of these have promoted the rapid development of the cross-border e-commerce.The transactions of the cross-border e-commerce must depend on logistics to transport the commodities from sellers to consumers,so,the development of cross-border logistics has also been attracted more and more attentions.But,The pace of development of cross-border logistics is slower than cross-border e-commerce,the weakness of cross-border logistics has become increasingly prominent.Overseas storage as a new mode of logistics,appeared under such background.Overseas storage is a great innovation of cross-border logistics modes,which can solve the issue for cross-border logistics,such as tremendous cost and long delivery cycle.The essence of overseas storage is transforming the cross-border trade as local trade,to improve the local consumer shopping experience,and thereby enhance the competitiveness of cross-border export business enterprise in target markets.This paper starts from the analysis of the current situation of cross-border e-commerce and cross-border logistics,through data and charts to show the development of cross-border e-commerce and logistics as well as the close connection between them.Due to the symbiotic relations between cross-border e-commerce and cross-border logistics,cross-border logistics has also been developed,but its development speed compared to cross-border e-commerce is still lagging behind,thus some problems have been exposed.The restrictions on commodity category, the immature logistics system which impact customer experience,the low informationization degree which leading to the uncoordination of cooperation with cross-border e-commerce,all of those have restricted the further development of cross-border logistics,and against the coorperation with cross-border e-commerce,inevitably affect the pace of development of cross-border e-commerce at the same time,thus caught in a vicious circle.Therefore,the emergence of a new logistics mode appears become more urgent. The emergence of overseas storage is the inevitable outcome of the interaction between the cross-border e-commerce and cross-border logistics,which is also an inevitable trend for the development of cross-border e-commerce.This paper explains the background of the appearance of overseas storage and the reasons for its emergence,introduces the main functions of overseas storage,explores new highlights of overseas storage compared with cross-border logistics,analyses impacts of overseas storage on cross-border e-commerce and cross-border logistics,based on the data and existing research results to explain why overseas storage will become inevitable trend in the development of cross-border logistics.Meanwhile,Combined with the development of domestic overseas storage,try to summarize the main modes of overseas storage construction in China:Construction by seller;Coorperation with third parties and One-stop supporting service.Introduces The different characteristics of these construction modes in detail,and using different types of enterprises on behalf of different overseas storage as a case for further analysis,through the introduction of these representative enterprises and illustration of their concrete measure in the case,summarizes their experience of overseas storage construction,to show the difference between the three modes more directly,and further demonstrates the impacts of overseas storage on the export of cross-border e-commerce and cross-border logistics.And in the course of study,also finds common problems in overseas storage,and specific problems in different modes of overseas storage are also different,If these problems can not be solved effectively in time,will undoubtedly hinder overseas storage to play its greatest advantage.Therefore, according to the above research results,this paper from the government, industry associations, cross-border e-commerce enterprises, cross-border logistics enterprises to give forward countermeasures and suggestions on overseas storage construction,to promote the development and improvement of overseas storage construction,thus to enable cross-border logistics and cross-border e-commerce integrating better,and to achieve common development.
