Research On The Importance Of The United Front In Servicing The Central Plains Economic Region

The united front is an important part of the strategies and policies implemented by the Communist Party of China which has run through China’s revolution and construction. Presently, along with the implementation of the “peaceful rise” development strategy, China is facing an increasingly complex and serious world situation, especially in the economic area, there are more fierce competitions. Therefore, the application of the united front power in the socialist economy shall be strengthened. During the new stage, the provincial party committee and the provincial government of Henan province have been actively applying the united front theories so as to service the local economic construction and rising of the central China. It aims to provide national strategy cohesion and give advice for the Central Plains Economic Region. During the three stages of the establishment, construction and future development of the Central Plains Economic Region, the united front has been playing an indispensable role in getting the support of the public, carrying out consensus propaganda, gathering the social forces and acquiring support from the central government under the governance of the provincial party committee and the provincial government.The united front services for the establishing of the Central Plains Economic Region which is mainly reflected in: the main leadership staff of Henan provincial party committee and provincial government utilizes the united front to create cohesion for the economic region as well as to carry promotion, planning, research as well as structure and layout works. In November, 2012, the State Council formally approved the settlement of the Central Plains Economic Region. And since then, the strategic planning of the economic region started to entering the real construction stage from the planning and setup stage. Under the leadership of Henan provincial party committee and provincial government, all the united front persons in the province continues to conduct on field research and widespread argument for the construction of the economic region. They are actively making contributions and giving advices for the accelerating of the coordinated development of the industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, constructing Zhengzhou airport economic comprehensive experimental area, butt jointing the national “silk road economic belt” strategy as well as the introducing of the strategic new arising industries. From now on, the united front shall improve on the work of the multi-party cooperation and political consultative works and strengthen the united front works in the economic area, attracting talents from various industries, construction the talent pool for the economic region as well as to support and guide the development of non-public economy, if it aims to better service the central plains economic region.Certainly, there will be various difficulties and challenges during the exploration and construction of the Central Plains Economic Region. Only by enforcing the united front works, can Henan provincial party committee and provincial government be able to better promote the construction and development of the Central Plains Economic Region, can they better mobilize various factors from the society and encourage them to unite as one integrated unit so as to service for the economic construction of Henna province and realize the revitalization goal of Henan province.
