Study On The Problem Of The Urbanization Of The New Generation Of Migrant Rural Workers In China

The article depends on two key words, which are “migrant rural workers” and “urbanization”. It aims at the situation of the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers in China nowadays and it follows the thinking——“finding problems to parsing problems to solving problems” to deeply analysis the issue that the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers.Firstly, in this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of the new generation of migrant rural workers, the necessity of the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers and the practical problem of the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers. Then we identified the subjective and objective constraints in the process of the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers.Thereinto, the subjective inhibiting factors are the bewilderments in their marginal identity and the fact that the stock and accumulation in their human capital are insufficient; then the objective constraints are those unreasonable household registration system, land system, housing system and the social discrimination, invalid organization power and so on. Hereafter we excavated the root causes of the disorders in order to put forward some useful proposals. These proposals conclude that promoting the reform and innovation of the system of the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers in China, promoting the human capital accumulation of the new generation of migrant rural workers and creating a good cultural environment for the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers.The useful proposals must be used to speed up the process of the urbanization of the new generation of migrant rural workers. Finally we must make the greatest efforts to promote the comprehensive development of the new generation of migrant rural workers, the construction of new urbanization, the built of the harmonious society, the construction of the socialist modernization and so on.
