With the advent of "Industry 4.0" era,foreign manufacturing companies have started to upgrade, transformation and innovation. Core competitiveness of enterprises increasingly depends on innovation and science and technology, knowledge workers closely related to business survival and sustainable development. Knowledge workers’ knowledge and skills directly affect the enterprise in the market core competitiveness, and knowledge Workers’ soft skills and personal qualities will indirectly affect the core competitiveness of enterprises. A combination of both business development plan and consistent with the characteristics of knowledge workers Competency Model, it can help companies attract the right talent, motivate and retain talent, and enable enterprises to maintain a competitive advantage in the fierce market.Firstly, this article first introduces the domestic and foreign competency theory, laid the theoretical foundation for the study. Secondly, through literature searches, access the company’s existing competency dictionary and competency elements, it summarizes the general ability of knowledge workers, professional skills, personal qualities in three dimensions. Then, combined with enterprise human resource management practices, theoretical calculations using AHP, clear the extent of the importance of competency elements, obtained the right competency of heavy elements, the company constructed the L knowledge workers competency model.
