The manufacturing execution system has been widely used in petrochemical, metallurgy, automobile, aerospace and other industries. L company’s internal manufacturing information systems have been used more than 10 years, has been using artificial data collection, and input into ERP system, on-site management lag, inefficient. For the purpose to improve on-site management improve efficiency of L company began to implement MES project, at the same time, considering the enterprise scale is small, small industries, markets for high cost factors, the company decided to develop the MES by internal developing team based on the reference work from the overseas plant. Determined by the analysis of production process, MES system framework, from the initial data connection with ERP system, to the production order management, production process monitoring, dating back from material management to quality control, continuously the development of MES system is established in this paper, at the same time also in constant increase extension module, meet the needs of different departments within the enterprise.According to the implementation of the MES development in L company, with the deep analysis and research of the manufacturing process, material control, and the traceability in quality control system, L company establish a set of effective manufacturing information system, provide an important reference value to other small electronic component company to set up MES by themselves.
