Study On The Problem Of Small Scale Dairy Farmers’ Withdrawing From Dairy Industry In Inner Mongolia

In recent years. China’s dairy industry happened many dairy products quality and safety incidents, consumers worry about the safety of dairy products in China, the demand of foreign dairy products gradually become larger, foreign dairy products market share is expanding in China, China’s dairy market has been a huge impact. under this background, China’s dairy farming pattern has happened great changes, a large number of small scale farmers are withdrawing from dairy industry, scale^ standardization and specialization of the breeding pattern is expanding. this paper takes Inner Mongolia as the research object, adopts the method of stratified random sampling, conducts field survey, organizes survey data.the influencing factors of small scale dairy farmers’ withdrawing from dairy industry in Inner Mongolia is divided into policy factors、the self-factors of dairy farmers、family factors、motivational factors and market factors.this paper uses the research methods of statistical description, compares and analyzes two types of dairy farmers; then paper uses logit model and probit model to analyze the main reasons affecting the small-scale dairy farmers out of dairy industry, the results showes that:policy factors、self factors、family factors、motivational factors and market factors have significant impact on small scale dairy farmers why choose to withdraw from the dairy industry. About the factor of motivation, the proportion of non-agricultural employment has biggest influence on small scale dairy farmers who choose to withdraw from the dairy industry, and the impact is positive.next in importance, about the factor of policy, whether government subsidies for large-scale farming or not has positive effect on small scale dairy farmers who choose to withdraw from the dairy industry, research on income and employment of dairy farmers after exiting the dairy industrry, it shows that small scale dairy farmers who choose to withdraw from the dairy industry is facing to find other non-agricultural work and the decline of income.finally, according to the results of the study, for the government and dairy enterprise how to realize sustainable development of dairy industry and social equity goals,this paper puts forward suggestions can improve the shortage of rural labor, help dairy farmers to upgrade and improve the living standards of dairy farmers.
