Comprehensive Evaluation Of Energy Consumption Structure In China Based On The Theory Of Sustainable Development

The sustainable development of energy determines the success or failure of the long-term sustainable development strategy in our country. Therefore, it is of great significance to grasp China’s energy consumption structure and analyzethe long-term trendsfor making mid and long-term development strategy and achievingsafe, clean, efficient, sustainable development ofenergy.The evaluation for China from The World Energy Statistics Yearbook which was published in June,2015 is that, although China’s energy consumption and production growth rate is far below the recent historical average, China still dominates the world energy market, and is the world’s largest energy consumer, producer and net importer.Based on sustainable development theory, the article made a comprehensive evaluation on the sustainable development of China’s energy consumption structure and took the data from 2005 to 2014 as a case study. First of all, this paper described the theory about energy consumption structure and related content, including detailed classification of energy, the development of energy consumption structure, the current situation and existing problems of China’s energy consumption structure.Secondly, the sustainable development theory was introduced, from the point of viewof its historical development, concept, basic elements and the connotation; The characteristics of sustainable development system, the theory of multi-dimensional space, the state of object, the ideal state and the critical state and the analysis of the changing trend of the energy consumption structure in the sustainable development theory were analyzed.Third, the index system of sustainable development evaluation wasbuilt, and the process and the mathematical model of the sustainable development system were described. Finally, a multi-objective comprehensive evaluation of the sustainable development was made using the data from 2005 to 2014 as a case study.The results showed that the sustainable development of energy consumption structure in our country had maintained an upward trend since the last ten years, but there was a fluctuation around 2008. After 2010, it had a significant rise, especially in 2012 and 2014 in which it was greatly improved.
