In 2016 China has all kinds of wood-based panel production more than 10000 enterprises, the annual output of more than 260 million cubic meters, is the first country in the world of wood-based panel import and export trade, production and consumption. But most of the man-made board production enterprises are small and medium enterprises, the limited size of the backward technology, competition is becoming increasingly fierce and turbulence in the international political and economic environment, the rapid development of industry technology, and in recent years international market demand atrophy problems let the development of these enterprises is full of challenges and uncertainty. Therefore, select the appropriate competitive strategy is essential to the enterprises.SDHM company is mainly engaged in high-end wood products production, through chemical modification of wood, cork, produce Kuroki products can be as a substitute for natural hardwood for musical instrument fittings manufacturing, the company more than 90 percent of products exported to the international market. Although development prospect is bright, but the company smaller funds are limited, also because of the turmoil in the international market wait-and-see attitude, whether it should be to expand production capacity, how to expand the production capacity, before becoming the key problems to be solved in front of the company.At first in this paper background and the enterprise competition strategy theory, carries on the analysis to the SDHM company’s present situation and internal and external environment, the use of PEST analysis, Porter’s five forces model of competition and other methods on the company’s competition analysis, looking for enterprise external opportunities, threats, advantages, weaknesses. Then through the SWOT analysis model, the enterprises can take the competition strategy are discussed, and through quantitative and qualitative analysis of QSPM, we can draw the conclusion that SDHM company should take the lead in the implementation of centralized competitive strategy.Finally, puts forward the strategic security measures SDHM companies can take, including focus on industry market to expand and strengthen human resources and social security, optimize organizational processes etc., and the implementation of the strategy that may arise in the process of the risk and difficulty were analyzed, and the countermeasures are put forward. As a small and medium-sized enterprise, SDHM company’s future competitive strategy exploration process, can be for domestic small and medium-sized artificial board enterprise how to choose practical and feasible competition strategy in the current situation to provide some reference.
