With the development of world economy, the trade company with its unique business model, focuses on customer and supplier resources development, and becomes one of the important participants. This article will focus on the trade company’s supplier selection and evaluation and purchasing process optimization research, and hope to be able to help the trade company to improve insufficient, improve management, and enhance strength.Based on the theory of supply chain management, referencing the theory and relative research of manufacturing enterprises supplier management, for the trade company’s business characteristics, with ZL company as an example, this article analyzed the special position and typical features of the trading company in the supply and demand, discussed the problems in supplier selection and supplier performance evaluation, put forward the corresponding solutions, and used AHP method for supplier selection as an example, established supplier evaluation index system and the third phase of supplier performance evaluation system.
