Study On The Forestry Industry Transformation Of Heilongjiang State-owned Forest

Industrial upgrading is the fundamental way of transforming the way of economic growth, improving economic efficiency and achieving fast and smooth economic growth. Only by industrial transformation and upgrading can the problems that resource-based industry is facing be solved. And, it is the only way that lead state-owned forest industry to greater success.Stable and smooth development of forest industry is crucial to the life quality of the people living in the forest region, to improve the income of forest industry’s employees, and to boost the coordinated development of economy, society, resource and environment. The state-owned forest region in Heilongjiang state-owned forest region is the largest state-owned forest region in China. Due to historical reason, the forest industry has long developed in a inefficient way by consuming tremendous forest resources. Thus, both the forest resource and forest economy are facing problems.After many years of adjustment, forest industry has expanded from timber production to multiple and emerging businesses. Although the scale and structure of forest industry in Heilongjiang state-owned forest region has been changing rapidly, but in general the develop level is still not high. From April 2014 on, the state-owned forest region in Heilongjiang state-owned forest region has ended commercial fell in the natural forest. It is a symbol that state-owned forest industry has transformed from exploitation to protection. The research of forest industry transformation in Heilongjiang state-owned forest region is beneficial to build a reasonable industry structure and achieve a substantial development.The thesis combines normative research and empirical research, qualitative research and quantitative research. Literature review is made to the theory and practice of industry transformation both home and abroad. Meanwhile, considering the status quo of the forest industry in Heilongjiang state-owned forest region, the thesis clarifies the concept of forest industry transformation, and, a systematic analysis was made to the impetus and obstacle of forest industry development. Based on that, evaluation index system based on entropy method is established to analyze the effect of the forest industry transformation in Heilongjiang state-owned forest region. The result shows that the forest industry in Heilongjiang state-owned forest region has made constant upgrade from 2005 to 2014. Principal Component Analysis shows that tertiary industry, such as forest tourism, will be the leading industry in the future. Other competitive industries were also picked out according to the score and improvement trend. Based on competitive industry, the industry system of state-owned forest region in Heilongjiang state-owned forest region was established. At last, the suggested path of industry transformation and the safeguarding measures are raised.
