The Problems And Countermeasures Study Of Contract Management In Pipeline Project Engineering Insurance

The engineering insurance management of CPP’s project departments is on the background for this paper. In order to transfer the risk in engineering construction, the paper points out that the good engineering insurance management will be advantageous to reduce the project risk of the project departments and protect self-interest. Nowadays, every pipeline engineering project has a fair level management of engineering insurance. But the number of inter-disciplinary talents in CPP is relatively small, who are familiar with both pipeline engineering project management and the engineering insurance, such as insurance managerial personnel are lack of pre-job training, do not understand the content of the insurance and pay little attention to risk prevention, without immediate treatment about the change of insurance contract, the project departments have indefinite division of labor, insufficient understanding of the claim, and incomplete data collecting and sorting etc. It makes a phenomenon that project departments have purchased the engineering insurance but fail to transfer the risk.According to the disadvantages about contract management in engineering insurance of every pipeline project department, the paper studies and improves three stages of engineering insurance: purchasing insurance management, process management and claim management, puts forward to establishing efficient process for contract management of engineering insurance, and fully embodies the characteristics of the contract management. With the mutual help of the brokerage insurance company and the assessment insurance company, the project departments improve all steps to make engineering insurance alive under the scientific and professional management, which can solve or avoid the disadvantages in management, reduce the uncertainty of engineering risks, and effectively control the funding, ensure the financial stability and profit of the project departments.
