Research On The Relationship Between Modren Logistics Industry Development And Employment In China

The development of China’s logistics industry has experienced the process of transformation from traditional logistics to modern logistics industry. As an important part of the third industry, modern logistics industry’s contribution to the market economy has become increasingly prominent. It has been proved that developing modern logistics industry vigorously is an important way to improve the level of employment and to increase employment opportunities. Modern logistics industry is not only helpful to employment, but also can promote the employment structure adjustment. Only by studying the internal mechanism of modern logistics industry and employment, can we ensure the harmonious development of the logistics industry and the logistics industry employment’s prosperity.This paper analyzes the development trend of the main target of China’s modern logistics industry such as total social logistics, logistics costs and logistics added values in 1991-2013 and the logistics industry’s employment indexes including employment number in 1991-2002. The interaction between logistics industry and employment is clarified on the basis of data analysis. It can be said that the development of the logistics industry in China has entered a period of transformation and upgrading at the present stage. Thus, effective measures must be taken to grasp the overall direction and ideas for the development of modern logistics industry in China, to promote the modernization level of China logistics and optimize the employment structure of the logistics industry and to raise the level of employment of the logistics industry, so the healthy development and benign interaction of the logistics industry and employment market can be ensured.Many methods in this paper are used to study the development of modern logistics industry and the relationship between China’s modern logistics industry and employment. Through literature analysis, the relationship between modern logistics industry and employment is deeply explored and the development trend of modern logistics industry in China is combed. Through the DTDA data analysis, the development and employment situation of China’s modern logistics industry in 1991-2013 is clearly understood. Through the system analysis, the logistics system’s internal indicators such as total social logistics, logistics costs and logistics added value are analyzed, so that the development of logistics industry can be fully known.
