Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Government Supervision Of Construction Engineering Quality In Chongqing

With the economy developing rapidly, the process of urbanization in our city increasingly quickening. The scale of construction industry in Chong Qing is also broader, the aspect of city construction has also made great achievements. However, the whole situation of engineering quality reflected from quality accidents is not optimistic, Engineering quality should further be improved.The system that government supervise and manage the quality of engineer construction in our country was carried out as early as 1985. Regulatory regime has been becoming more and more mature after 30 years development. The whole relevant system has played an important role in Chong Qing’s engineer construction quality.However, With the process of urbanization in our city increasingly quickening, the instruction scale broadening, now there have been some conditions that don’t adept to development scale of construction. Driven by the new development conditions. How to effectively supervise the construction project quality and further to guarantee the construction engineering quality. Upgrade the level of construction in Chong Qing is the problem we must face. In this paper, the improvement measures about construction engineering quality supervision system in Chong Qing are put forward.This paper firstly describes the current status of government supervision over the engineering quality in our country, and introduces relevant theory and concepts about the government supervision over the construction engineering quality. The description and the introduction laid a good groundwork for later research. Then the paper introduces the general situation of government supervision over construction projects quality in Chong Qing, pointing out the main problem of engineering quality in Chong Qing. At the last, the paper put forward targeted improvement countermeasures according to the previous analysis, including the improving government supervision and organization system, strictly supervising the law enforcement, perfecting the supervision system, strengthening the construction market management and build quality credit evaluation system.The research provides reference opinions for government supervision over project quality in Chong Qing and further improve engineering quality supervision system in Chong Qing.
