In recent years, as with the vigorous development of civil nuclear power industry in our country, a variety of technical standards, such as CPR1000, EPR, AP1000, CAP1400, of nuclear power project are adopted and deployed one after another, and domestic large-scale equipment manufacturing enterprises in the nuclear power industry capture the opportunity, most of them have invested heavily into building nuclear power equipment manufacturing bases, in order to take up bigger market share in the civil nuclear power market.However, when a large number of orders are received, due to inadequate technical preparations, raw materials procurement progress lagging, inappropriate progress management to project evolution, and other factors, most of the actual project progresses and schedules encounter significant deviation. Based on some nuclear power equipment manufacturing enterprise of D company undertaking A nuclear project steam generators manufacture progress management process as the research object, analyses and put forward new solutions and methods to nuclear power equipment manufacturing project management.The project progress management is core for management of the project, is also the key to the success of the project and the quantitative standard, and most importantly the key to win customers, seize market shares. Sound progress management must contain a good schedule plan as support; especially in the thorough management, strict procedures, long duration, complex interface relationship of nuclear power project main component, progress management reflect its criticality. To guarantee the project schedule plan goals accomplishable, and to satisfy the provisions of the contract and customers’ requirements, is indispensible to a company continual, faster and better development.This paper first introduces the basic situation of D company, organization configuration and responsibility of progress management of steam generator manufacture, and its current issues, referencing advanced foreign and domestic industrial experience of building schedule plans and progress management, remodel A nuclear steam generator manufacturing project management, and establish new thinking and befitting solutions to integral project schedule plan build-up and progress management and control, propose project management optimization and improvement measures, practice A project schedule management of steam generator manufacture application research and reality testing.This paper examines A project and propose new management solutions and counter-measures to reality issues, and provides certain guidance to D company future project management, to further assist peer industrial enterprises in schedule and progress management.
