Research Of Social Security Of Land-lost Farmers Under The Condition Of New Type Urbanization Based On The City Of Pizhou

Group conflicts which are triggered by land expropriation in Pizhou city have become a social focus in recent years. The problem of losing land for farmers is the major social problem for local government of Pizhou. The contradiction between government and land-lost farmers is ascribed to the pursuit of government performance examination of local government and the social security demands of land-lost farmers, and which causes the land acquisition process is blocked and no effective way to solve the conflicts of interests for both sides. This kind of problem will hamper the development of economy for local government, and eventually influences the process of harmonious socialism. Therefore, the social security of land-lost farmers should be paid high attention in the construction of new type urbanization and the government should also consider the corresponding polices to solve this social problem. The group conflict events in the city of Pizhou have attracted the attention of the central government owing to the division of earnings in the land expropriation. The study of social security of land-lost farmers in Pizhou could help to find the source of conflicts between land-lost farmers and government, and also it could provide some insights for the local government to solve these social problems.This study analyzes the social security problem in Pizhou city based on the background of urbanization, and the methods in the process of analysis include the literature analysis, the combination and illustration in the perspective of theory and practice for land-lost problems.Firstly, the problem of land-lost has been demonstrated and the problems mainly include the irrational compensation system and the insufficient coverage for compensation as well as the abuse of power for personal gain. Secondly, the reasons have been explored to point the aforementioned problems, and the major reasons include the unreasonable land expiration system and the lack of standardization for the fund of social security of land-lost farmers. Lastly, some suggestions are given to the problem of social security for land-lost farmers, which mainly include the overall development of urban and rural areas and the warranty of sustainable development of land-lost farmers. By analyzing the social security problems and the corresponding reasons of land-lost farmers, some countermeasures are given from the perspective of policy and society.
