Entered in twenty-first Century, with the global information and intelligent technology development, the electronic industry especially consumer electronics devices growing very fast. At the same time, the industry formed a multi-level cooperation system. In this electronic industry constructed system, the OEM/ODM/EMS companies are located in end of the supply chain and value chain. They are sharing the lowest profit, facing stronger competition, requested low running cost and efficient operation and management system. Therefore, the electronic manufacturing enterprises must be to enhance their operation efficiency, ensure product on time delivery to meet customer needs.In this paper, we take the T company and it’s producing a touchpad – A product as the research object. Based on A product’s character and supply chain management theory, study the operation challenge and problems upon finish goods on-time-delivery. The study mainly focus on purchasing strategy, human resource flexibility and stock management these three area. Through the root cause analysis of shipment delay, indicate the operation improvement action plan, include implement new purchasing strategy and method, increase manpower flexibility and enhance automation rate, optimize the stock management level…etc.After implement those new methods and suggestions, the on-time-delivery of A product has significant improved, meantime the company’s operation efficiency and effective also improve a lot. The operation challenge of A product’s to ensure on-time-delivery is typical for similar companies and products. So the solutions can be reference and use by such kind companies and products.
